New logistics and office facility

From the Autostrada del Sole, the large logistics platform appears as the backdrop of an artificial landscape, punctuated by the main volume of the group's administrative offices. The scale of the intervention rules out any mimetic approach or distinctive forms for the production areas, leaving cladding solutions as the open option. To reshape its impact on the context, the project reversed the terms of the problem posed by inserting such large containers into the territory. The building itself became a backdrop, against which huge mounds of earth and green spaces emerge, drawing a new landscape that dialogues with the single defined volume of the offices—generated by a deformation of the backdrop's surface.
