Commissioned by the Municipality of Cernusco sul Naviglio, the project marks a collaboration with the Natural History Museum of Milan and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
The design of the Botanical Garden draws inspiration from traditional botanical gardens, integrating dedicated spaces for plant species conservation, scientific research, and public enjoyment.

The proposed scheme plays with vegetated spaces that generate fluid trajectories, pathways, and resting points animated by the movement of visitors. There is no single prescribed route, designated direction, or set duration: visitors are invited to lose themselves in a rich spectrum of sensory experiences—guided by a recurring color, a fragrance, subtle sounds, open lawns, or water features.
