This preliminary design addresses the monumental waterfront of the Port of Naples — the Molo Angioino, Calata Beverello, and Calata Piliero — as part of the wider redevelopment of the port front from Molo San Vincenzo to Piazza Mercato. The proposal reorganizes the quaysides beneath the Maschio Angioino castle with timber decking, planted buffers, shaded pavilions, and reflective screening, reconnecting the historic port to the city while upgrading passenger and pedestrian infrastructure.
