The design brief was reframed by proposing an intervention that, through the layering of original elements onto the technical plant, transforms its overall image. Rather than concealing the power plant's presence, the project gives it a new visibility, unifying the turbine and cooling system volumes into a single figure that engages with the scale of the landscape. The beams follow the slope's incline, integrating the complex into the Amiata setting, and are sized to give the whole structure a shifting, iridescent effect depending on the viewing angle of a distant observer.
