The expansion of the production departments and administrative offices was an opportunity to reshape the image of the whole complex: new forms and volumes reflect the company's ongoing evolution. The pedestrian entrance was redesigned, integrating an existing building façade with a water feature that also feeds the fire-suppression reservoir. New administrative spaces face onto this, arranged around a central courtyard — a fully glazed space whose openness contrasts with the closed, dark-brick exterior walls. The expansion also involved reorganizing the plant's internal logistics and creating an automated aging facility for Parmigiano Reggiano.
