The Laus Pompeia Museum, by Fasemodus, occupies a restored 18th-century rural barn in Lodi Vecchio (Lodi). The restoration preserved the exposed brickwork, timber roof trusses, and distinctive pierced-brick façades that filter daylight into the galleries, while adapting the volume for museum use. Minimal white display cases sit against raw brick walls beneath tall arched openings, letting the artifacts take center stage. Outside, a dark steel entrance portal and long curved perimeter wall mark a contemporary threshold to the historic site, which also includes a library and an archaeological park with visible cathedral remains.
